“One day, I decided to climb the highest mountain on Earth. I prepared myself for a year, and then, on a fine morning, I began the climb. I was confident about reaching the summit because I had all the gear I needed to make it to the top.

Although I found no company for the journey, it did not bother me. While trekking, I narrowly escaped a snow leopard. On another day, I saved myself from rolling stones. There were moments when the mountain tested me again and again.

One day, it started raining heavily, and I thought I would not make it. Still, I continued, step by step, refusing to give up. Finally, I reached the summit.

When I stood at the top, I noticed that the path behind me had been washed away. There was no proper place to camp, and no clear way to stay for a few days or climb back down.“ this was my 2025 . Happy New Year 2026 . How about yours?

#Malasana #garlandpose looks very easy but same time it take times to go deep in this asana. I have been practicing since day 1 of my yoga practice still need more hip opening . This below steps may help you open the hip flexors and adductors.

1. Baddha Konasana – Butterfly

Sit tall, bring the soles of your feet together, and let your knees fall wide. Hold your feet, flap the knees gently, breathe consciously. Can be done for 1-3 minutes.

2. Ananda Balasana (Happy Baby pose)

Lie down, hug your knees, then catch your feet. Open your knees wide toward your armpits. Relax the hips, rock gently side to side. Do this 1-2 mins .

3. Low Lunge (Anjaneyasana)

Step your right foot forward, drop the back knee. Sink the hips low, keep the chest lifted. Feel the stretch in the hip flexors. Switch sides. 1 min on each side.
There are other asanas which may help but i always suggest start with few and gradually keep on adding more if you get time .

5” away from full Hanumanasana (front split). But yes, I agree when the experts say that the split takes time. Always practice with Ahimsa. Whenever you practice, make sure to use enough blocks or a bolster to support the pose, and then gradually, with every exhalation, try to go deeper. Here, the practice of Yin helps a lot, because sometimes we also need to relax and let go before fully engaging.
